ODESSA - UT Permian Basin left fielder Tylor Frailey has been named the Lone Star Conference hitter of the week, the LSC announced Tuesday afternoon.

Frailey had a breakout weekend for the Falcons against Eastern New Mexico. The senior set season-highs in hits, runs scored and RBI in a single game this past weekend. He started the weekend 4-for-5 with a double, three RBI and scored four times in the Falcons 22-5 win. The 22 runs are the fifth most in a game in program history. He followed that with a 3-for-3 performance with four RBI and a pair of triples. He was held to just one hit and an RBI in the third game of the weekend, but was walked three times including intentionally in the seventh inning to set up Skyler Palermo's game winning sac fly.

He leads the team with 22 RBI out of the two hole in the order and is third among qualified hitters with a .267 average on the season.
