ODESSA - UT Permian Basin football will wrap up its 2019 spring season with this Saturday's Black and Orange Game, held on campus at the UTPB Turf Field.

"We're excited to bring the spring game back on campus," said head coach Justin Carrigan. "The guys have worked hard the last month and we're looking forward to seeing that show on Saturday surrounded by our fans."

Fans are welcome and encouraged to start tailgating on campus at 9 a.m. on the track area surrounding the field, and with limited seating, should bring their own chairs.

This weekend will also present a chance to get up-close with the new D. Kirk Edwards Family Human Performance Center. Nearly half of the steel framework has been put into place into the future home of Falcon Football that will open in the summer of 2020.

Saturday's game will kick off at 11 a.m. and will consist of four, 12-minute, running clock quarters with a three-minute break between the first and second, and third and fourth quarters, and a five minute halftime period.

Following the spring game, all fans are invited to head over to Roden Field and watch UTPB Baseball take on Texas A&M Kingsville in a Lone Star Conference doubleheader. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
