UTPB's Ledoux to enter 2019 NBA draft

After one season with the Falcons, UTPB junior guard Jacob Ledoux will forgo is final season of eligibility and enter into the 2019 NBA draft.

Ledoux was named to the 2019 Lone Star Conference First Team and was also named the Conference's Newcomer of the Year. He was then named to the NCAA Div. II South Central All-Regional second team as well.

"We want to support everyone of our players dreams," said UTPB men's basketball head coach Josh Newman. "We will help Jacob every step of the way in the process"

Ledoux made an immediate impact in his first year at UT Permian Basin. The junior from Port Barre, La., led all players in the Lone Star Conference with 18.1 points per game in 2018-19. He had a season-best 36 points in a win over Western New Mexico, one of two games this season over 30 points. Ledoux had at least 20 points in 10 different games and scored in double figures 25 times.
