The Permian Panther football team is having a historic year in sending their student athletes off to college football programs.

On Wednesday, which was National Signing Day, MOJO had eight student sign national letters of intent.

Both Matt Jones (Baylor) and Landon Peterson (Texas Tech) had already signed with their respective teams in December, but joined their teammates in the celebration.

Christian Tschauner signed as a preferred walk-on at Texas, while his teammate also signed as a PWO at Baylor in Justin Hammond.

A trio of Panthers will also be staying close to home to attend UTPB in Rakeeb Adeyami, Ed Williams and Dawson Reynolds.

Kaden Horrell also pledged to play for William Penn.
