Blaine Lavonna Decker, 29, has been charged with Robbery, a 2nd Degree Felony.

On October 6 officers with the Odessa Police Department were called to the Super Wash on Andrews Highway for a report of a theft.

Police then learned that an employee had left their iPhone, identification card, debit cards and $300 on the countertop and that it had all been taken by a woman.

Two employees chased the woman and eventually caught up with her but she then began swinging at them both, hitting one in the face. The woman was then able to run away.

The investigation of the theft led the Odessa Police Department to identify the suspect as Decker, who was already in custody on unrelated charges. She is now facing a new charge of robbery.
