Woman Arrested for Assault; Violently Attacks Officer

Officers were called to the area of 89th and Lamar in Odessa after an incomplete 911 call. When they arrived they were told by a ten-year-old boy that his mother, 31-year-old Adriana Villegas, threw a toy Lego box at her boyfriend's face.

Villegas was taken into custody on charges of assault. While officers walked Villegas to the patrol unit, she kicked the officer in his shins. After placing her in the backseat, Villegas punched the officer in the genitals then proceeded to grab and squeeze. She also shouted profanities stating "Y'all pigs are going to regret this."

Villegas was charged with Assault on a Public Servant.
