The Odessa Police Department is investigating after a car driven by a teenager crashed into a home on Monday morning.

The accident happened near the intersection of 18th Street and Sam Houston Avenue.

According to Odessa police, a GMC truck and a Chrysler 300 collided at the intersection after the driver of the Chrysler ran a stop sign.

That crash then caused the Chrysler to veer off the road and crash into the home.

The driver and passenger of the truck were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police say that the driver of the Chrysler, a 14-year-old, and the passenger were not hurt. The driver is being cited for: 1, no license, 2, no insurance, 3, running a red light, and 4, minor in possession.

The homeowner Paula Lozano tells CBS7 that no one was home at the time and, despite the damage, she's in good spirits.
