UPDATE: Three teens arrested after robbing Odessa sports store, shooting at witness from gray Jeep

UPDATE: Police have made three arrests in connection to a robbery that happened Saturday afternoon in Northwest Odessa.

17-year-old Chaviya Crosby and two 16-year-old teen boys have been charged with Aggravated Robbery.

Police found the suspects' gray Jeep in the 3700 block of Andrews Highway Saturday night.

Crosby was sent to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center and the two 16-year-olds were taken to the Ector County Youth Center.


Around noon Saturday afternoon, Odessa Police responded to Permian Basin Power Sports on 15th and West County Road in reference to a robbery.

Investigators said a man entered the business and showed a handgun to the clerk. A customer then entered the store and the suspect immediately ran outside to a gray Jeep.

When the customer attempted to get the suspect’s license plate number, the suspect began shooting rounds at the customer. The suspect then fled the scene in the gray Jeep.

There were no reports of any injuries, according to the Odessa Police Department.
