Trash fire extinguished in West Odessa

WEST ODESSA, Tx. (KOSA) -- 2: 20 p.m. Update: New details have been released on this morning's fire.

According to Ector County Sheriff Mike Griffis, a trash fire got out of control. Some tires may have also burned in the fire.

There is no word yet if charges or citations will be filed in connection to the fire.

A building in West Odessa caught on fire on Monday morning.

The fire is near the intersection of West 24th Street and Sycamore Drive.

Smoke from the fire could be seen miles away.

There is no word yet on what kind of building caught on fire.
