All required signatures have been obtained for
in West Texas.
According to Ty Edwards, the general manager of the Middle Pecos Groundwater Conservation District, their proposed settlement has been approved by Fort Stockton Holdings, LP, Republic Water of Texas, LLC, and Clayton Williams Farms, Inc. with signatures.
Now the group is planning to file a joint motion that would ask the Court of Appeals to remand their hearing back to the District so that the permit can be acted upon.
Edwards says that parties who have protested the permit previously will now have to make a decision on how they will proceed.
