MIDLAND, Tx. (KOSA) -- The Sibley Nature Center is inviting the public to connect with nature.
The center will be holding its annual Nature Festival on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
According to a release, the festival will give families and individuals a chance to unplug and enjoy nature through live demonstrations, trail walks and more.
The festival will include a Sibley's Kids' Zone where kids will be able to enjoy storytelling, crafts and nature activities.
The event schedule goes as follows:
-9 a.m. - Pre-festival trail walk to Sibley pond
-10 a.m. - Rusty the Cowboy western songs and stories begin and run every 30 minutes
-10:30 a.m. - Trail walks begin and run every 30 minutes.
-11 a.m. - Nancy and Her Friends (Storytime in the Auditorium)
-11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Community Band at Campfire
-1 p.m. - Nancy and Her Friends (Storytime in the Auditorium)
The festival had more than 800 attendees in 2018.
