ODESSA -- As the Christmas season gets into full swing, Sam’s Club shoppers are sampling more than food this holiday season.
Sam’s Club organizers showed off a few of the newest toys and games hitting shelves ahead of Christmas with live demonstrations.
The Odessa location is one of the eleven Sam’s Club’s in the country trying out this advertising method in their stores; ditching shelves for something a bit more interactive.
Supervisor Alma Bueno says she hopes the demonstrations can attract more customers than typical shelved toys in order to boost sales this Christmas season.
“It’s good for our vendors, you know. [It] Just gives us a little more business and a lot more sales and a little more interaction is what we want,” said Bueno.
Bueno also says she hopes their demonstration model succeeds so it can be used to promote more of their products in the future.
