ODESSA -- An Odessa business is looking to help get the Balmorhea State Park pool back up and running.

The Saulsbury Corporation will be making a $100,000 donation to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundations' fund on Thursday.

That donation will also be matched by the Apache Corporation, which announced in August that it would be matching any and all gifts dollar to dollar up to $1 million.

This money will be going towards a TPWF fund to raise a total of $2 million for pool repairs. Donations can be made online here.

The Balmorhea State Park pool was closed back in May after significant damage was discovered during annual cleaning. Park officials say that the concrete apron under the diving board was damaged. The apron is used to stabilize the walls of the pool from erosion.
