The City of Midland confirms Rapper Tone Loc was detained on Saturday afternoon. The spokesperson made it clear that he wasn't arrested, but detained at the Midland Air and Space Port.
The city will not tell us why the rapper was detained at this time.
Tone Loc's real name is Anthony Terrell Smith. The rapper is known for his hit songs "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina."
