Police: Man called in bomb threat to get girlfriend off work

A man is behind bars after police say he called in a bomb threat to a store in February to get his girlfriend off work.
Aaron Gutierrez, 26, has been charged with Bomb Scares Unlawful, a 4th Degree Felony.
According to the Lovington Police Department, their officers responded to a phoned-in bomb threat at the Family Dollar on North Main Street on Monday, February 25.
An investigation which involved police obtaining search warrants for phone records revealed that Gutierrez's girlfriend worked at the Family Dollar.
Police say that Gutierrez called in the threat to get her off work so that he could see her.
Gutierrez was charged and arrested on Monday, April 15
