I-20 reopened following semi-truck crash in Odessa
UPDATE: All lanes of I-20 have now been reopened.
UPDATE: The Odessa Police Department has released new information on today's crash on I-20.
According to Odessa police, their officers first responded to a call of a crash on the interstate at 11:58 a.m.
When police arrived at the scene they found that a semi-truck carrying crude oil was traveling eastbound when it flipped over.
No one was hurt in the crash.
The eastbound lanes of I-20 in Odessa are shut down following a crash.
The following comes from TxDOT:
Odessa police have requested a road closure due to a crash. I-20 eastbound lanes between mile markers 122/123. Semi has flipped.
Both eastbound lanes AND south service road will be shut down for the transfer of flammable material from the overturned semi.
