Man arrested for tampering with evidence after woman's body found

ODESSA -- Twenty-four year old Ashley Fulton passed away on Saturday, and Odessa Police Department is considering it a potential homicide and overdose.

Police tape, officers, and a mobile crime lab is what the scene looked like on Saturday on Royal Manor Drive.

Property records show the home belonging to Henry and Amy Fulton.

While officers were on scene Saturday morning, they met Braxton Hudgens, who was arrested for tampering with evidence.

The arrest affidavit revealed Braxton admitted to getting rid of heroin packaging and paraphernalia.

Another witness agreed, saying that after calling 911, Braxton moved the heroin items.

Police searched the home and found the heroin packaging in the toilet, a common method of disposal.


According to Odessa Police, a 24 year-old woman's body was found inside a home at the Shiloh estates in northeast Odessa.

The home is located on the corner of Royal Manor Drive and Lamplight Lane.

Crime scene investigators are on scene and are considering this a 'potential homicide', but have also said this is an overdose.

Odessa Police believe the woman found owned the home that she was found in.

The woman's body will be sent off for an autopsy, next of kin have been notified. Her identity has not been released.

Police are still working to find out if this was intentional or accidental.
