Odessa Police investigating four major overnight crashes

ODESSA, TX (KOSA) -- Odessa Police are investigating four major crashes that happened late Friday night and into early Saturday morning.

Around 10:30 p.m., OPD responded to a motorcycle crash on Tanglewood and 42nd Street.

Police said the motorcyclist was transported to Medical Center Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

At about the same time on Friday, police responded to a auto-pedestrian crash on Golder and University Boulevard.

Police said the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The third accident, involving four vehicles, happened on 56th and Faudree Road around 11:15 p.m.

According to police, one person was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The last accident happened around 3:00 a.m. Saturday morning on Tanglewood and 42nd Street.

OPD said one person from this two vehicle crash was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

All four crashes are currently under investigation and more information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
