MIDLAND, Tx. (KOSA) -- The application process for Midland ISD's Early Childhood Programs is set to start soon.
Starting on Monday, March 18 application packets will be made available at the MISD Central Administration building at 615 West Missouri Avenue from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on school days.
According to a release, once an application is picked up a documentation list will be provided and an appointment will be scheduled to determine eligibility and enrollment.

The MISD Early Childhood Programs are for:
-Children that turn 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2019
-Children who live in the Midland Independent School District; and
Meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
-Children from low income families or receiving public assistance
-Children with limited English language
-Children who are in or have been in foster care
-Children in an active military family
-Children whose parent was injured or killed while serving in the military
-Children who are homeless
-Children of a Star of Texas Award recipient
Families are invited to contact the MISD Early Childhood Office at 432-240-1530 for questions about eligibility. Students eligible for the program attend classes at neighborhood elementary school campuses.
