Man Arrested for Theft; Stuffed Steaks Down His Pants

A Midland man has been arrested for attempting to steal steaks by stuffing them down his pants.
According to police 57-year-old Mark Friel was caught by an HEB employee while he tried to stuff steaks down his pants.
Friel took off on foot -- and was later found on the 3300 block of Midkiff.
Friel is charged with evading arrest and theft.
