MIDLAND -- The Lowe's Home Improvement Heroes Program is known for helping communities with a variety of projects. This year they set their sights on the Midland Senior Community Center.
The center got a new dance floor, fresh paint and a new sink and countertop thanks to the program.
Jeremiah Stanley, the manager of the Lowe's in Midland says he's happy to have the opportunity to help.
"Our employees live here, so they care about the community locally. So it's just a really great opportunity to build that relationship and build a better Midland," said Stanley.
The Heroes Program sets aside money for projects selected by each of their stores to focus on community improvements.
