MIDLAND, Tx. (KOSA) -- Veterans from across the area are visiting our nation's capitol this weekend to see the memorials built in their honor first hand.
The Permian Basin Honor Flight is a local organization that has spent the last seven years taking veterans of World War II, Korea and Vietnam to Washington D.C.
The veterans left the Midland International Airport early Thursday morning and arrived around 10 a.m.
Jay Hendricks and Matthew Alvarez are traveling with the veterans and will share the latest from their trip on CBS7.
