Fort Stockton police asking for public's help in finding stolen BBQ pit

The Fort Stockton Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a stolen BBQ pit and trailer.

The pit and trailer, which was custom made, has Texas License Plate 840778H.

According to FSPD it was last seen in the area of Stone Road near the city landfill at around 4:30 p.m. and in the 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 block of East 5th Street from 1-2 p.m.

Owners of personal and work security system cameras are asked to review their footage to check for the person and vehicle involved in the theft.

A tipster with information leading to an arrest could receive a cash reward up to $1,000. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Fort Stockton Police Department at (432) 336-4600 or online
