ODESSA, Tx. (KOSA) -- An Odessa student was arrested after the school district says that she pulled out a knife during an argument.
The student, who has not been identified, has been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a 2nd Degree Felony.
According to Ector County ISD, a group of students at Crockett Middle School got into an argument on Thursday.
The district says that during the argument an 8th-grade girl pulled out a knife in an aggressive manner. A staff member walked up to the group and the girl ran away.
No students involved in the argument were hurt.
District police then arrested the student and charged her with aggravated assault.
