New information released on arrests of drive-by shooting suspects

ODESSA, Tx. (KOSA) -- New information has been released the arrests of four teens in connection to drive-by shootings in Odessa.

On Thursday morning the Odessa Police Department responded to drive-by shootings on East 15th Street and Santa Monica.

No one was hurt at either scene. Police then began searching for the suspects behind both shootings.

At 12:45 p.m. deputies with the Ector County Sheriff's Office spotted a vehicle believed to have been involved with the shootings and tried to pull it over at 31st Street and Golder Avenue.

A short chase ensued and ended at 33rd Street and Noble Avenue where four teens inside the vehicle got out and ran away.

Three of the suspects were caught and a pistol was found in the 900 block of West 30th.

Another teen, believed to be the driver, was later caught by the Odessa Police Department.

In total two 16-year-olds and two 15-year-olds were charged and arrested in connection to the shootings. All of the suspects have been charged with deadly conduct and evading arrest. One of the 16-year-olds has been charged with tampering with evidence and theft of a firearm.
