'Educate Midland' tackling early childhood education with collaboration announcement

MIDLAND – In a press release, non-profit Educate Midland has announced a collaboration effort with several other organizations to improve early childhood education.

Educate Midland announced it will be teaming up with UTPB's First 5 Permian Basin, the Abell-Hanger Foundation, the United Way of Midland, and other organizations.

On Friday, June 16th, at the Midland County Centennial Library, Educate Midland will be joined by those organizations for a public discussion on "new collaborative initiatives in place to positively impact young children and their families."

The library is located at 2503 W. Loop 250 North in Midland.

In its mission statement, Educate Midland deems itself both a non-profit entity and a community in Midland, with a mission to connect people, ideas, and resources with opportunity and hope so that all students achieve their highest educational potential.
