ODESSA -- One of the biggest rivalry games in the Lone Star State is only days away and with that comes announcements of ticket sales and traffic routes.
Tickets for the game between Odessa High and Permian will be sold at Ratliff Stadium starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday morning and ending at 5 p.m. later that day.
Each vehicle will be given a number, and each number will only be able to buy a maximum of 10 tickets. Reserved tickets will be sold for $8 while student seats will be sold for $4.
Tickets can only be purchased with cash or checks made payable to Ector County ISD.
Any remaining tickets not sold on Wednesday will be sold at the ECISD Administration Building on Thursday from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. and on Friday from 7 a.m.-12 p.m.
On Friday the Odessa Police Department will begin directing traffic at the stadium at 5:30 p.m.
Traffic flow will only be going into the stadium until just before the game starts.
Odessa High will be seated on the east side of the stadium while Permian will be seated on the west side.
Permian fans are encouraged to enter the stadium at the northwest gate and the west side of the main gate. Odessa High fans will enter the stadium at the northeast gate, the east gate and the east side of the main gate.
No crossover traffic will be allowed inside of the stadium. Once the game is over traffic flow will only be heading out until a majority of the fans have left. Any parents who are looking to drop off and pick up their children from the stadium should expect delays.
