Search continues for missing Brewster County girl who has been in contact with parents

BREWSTER COUNTY -- The search continues for a Brewster County girl who went missing last week.

An Amber Alert was issued for Stormie Clemmer, 15, who was last seen with 20-year-old Brian Akers in Alpine.

Brewster County Sheriff Ronny Dodson tells CBS 7 that the search still continues, and that Clemmer spoke with her parents Sunday night from Tennessee.

Authorities in Ohio have been notified of the case as Clemmer is believed to be possibly heading that way.

Clemmer is described as a white female who is 5'7 and weighs around 100 pounds.

She has brown hair, green eyes and was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jean shorts and hiking shoes.

Akers is described as a white male who is 5'11 and weighs around 210 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Akers is believed to be driving a black 2000 Ford Ranger Extended Cab with fender flares, 5-spoke chrome rims and a temporary Ohio license plate.
