BIG SPRING, Tx. (KOSA) -- The Big Spring Police Department is searching for the suspect of a shooting that sent one person to the hospital on Thursday night.
According to Big Spring police, their officers responded to the 1700 block of South Scurry at 10:34 p.m. for a report of a gunshot victim.
When police arrived at the scene, they found that a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was then taken to the Scenic Mountain Medical Center and is now receiving treatment at University Medical Center in Lubbock. Police say that the victim is expected to survive.
An investigation of the shooting led detectives to obtain an arrest warrant for 30-year-old Quincy Lamar Henry for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
