Midland, Tx. (KOSA) – Like any middle schooler, Tashyne likes to play games and have fun but he already knows the importance of responsibility.
“I always want to get my work done in the classroom so I don’t have to take it home for extra homework," Tashyne explained.
He’s on the A/B Honor Roll in 7th grade and enjoys his math and science classes the best. He could quickly share this fun fact about our biology:
“We have 46 chromosomes - 23 come from our dad and 23 come from our mom," Tashyne said.
Tashyne shares more than a few chromosomes with his twin brother, who he’s grateful for.
“Whenever you’re filling sad, he’s always there to cheer you up," Tashyne explained.
While the two play together often, Tashyne is quick to point out they like different things and he’s hopeful to have a big brother of his own.
Tashyne already has the first afternoon with his big brother planned out: “Go out, do some sports, play some video games and go out for some ice cream," Tashyne said.
