BALMORHEA -- A favorite watering hole looks to be out of commission for the rest of the summer.
In May it was announced that the Balmorhea State Park pool would be closed indefinitely after damage was discovered during the pool's annual spring cleaning.
Now staff at the park say that repairs could take two to three months to complete.
Staff are also working with the issue of endangered species that live in the San Solomon Springs. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is consulting with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to protect those species during the pool repairs.
