Two people die after truck loses control, crashes into Odessa business

ODESSA -- Two people are dead after a fatal accident that happened Friday morning in Odessa.

Odessa police and Fire Rescue responded the accident, which occurred just after midnight on November 30.

Investigators found a black Dodge Ram containing three passengers had been traveling westbound on University at a high rate of speed. The driver of the vehicle lost control and crashed into The Depot Pizza and Deli on Kermit Highway.

The victims in the crash were identified as Elizabeth Urias, 31, and Marco Brown, 21. A third person, Selena Munoz, was taken to Medical Center Hospital.

Later that day on Friday members of the community came together to help the owner of The Depot Pizza & Deli pick restore their business.
