Andrews ISD to vote on $53 million bond

Andrews County residents have voted in favor of the $53 million bond for the school districts.
Andrews ISD will decide on Saturday on a $53 million bond for the school district.

Andrews ISD needs the money for technology, transportation and facility projects.

Andrews ISD says they send 52 percent of their school funding back to the state capitol to be redistributed through the Robin Hood Program.

The district estimates that the bond would have zero impact on property taxes if home values increase as anticipated.
