Truck engulfed in flames near Brewster County

According to Emergency Coordinator for Brewster County, David Lambrix, The Alpine Fire Department, and, The Sheriff's Department are responding to a truck fire 3 miles South of Pecos County line.

He adds that the truck is totally engulfed and there is no word on how the fire got started.

Crews on scene say no one was taken to the hospital.

As of now, we are told the fire was reported as a tire fire.

In a video shared with CBS 7 News the truck is shown completely on fire and a heavy police presence is visible at the scene.

Fort Stockton Fire Department is assisting in putting out the fire.
