2.5 magnitude earthquake recorded east of Odessa

A 2.5 magnitude earthquake was reported east of Odessa on Monday morning.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake was recorded 10 kilometers to the northeast of Odessa at 3:44 a.m.

Six earthquakes have been reported around the same area in the past seven days.

There have been three in and around Odessa during the past few days:

1) Today, March 9 - 2.5

2) Sunday, March 1 - 3.0

3) Saturday, February 29 - 2.3
