Weekends | 6 & 10 p.m.

Joseph Neubauer joined the CBS7 Weather team in May 2018 and serves as the Weekend Meteorologist & MMJ, as well as fill-in Meteorologist on weekdays.

A native Texan, Joseph graduated from Texas A&M University in Spring 2018 with a Bachelors Degree in Meteorology and minor in Mathematics. An interesting fact, Joseph spent his first year of college at Texas Tech, giving him some experience out here in West Texas.

In 2017, Joseph spent time at our sister station, KBTX, in Bryan/College Station. Joseph learned the intangibles of broadcast meteorology, tools he uses every single day here in the Permian Basin.

Then, in May 2018, Joseph joined Tom Tefertiller and Craig Stewart on the Weather Authority team here at CBS 7.

Other than doing the weather, and occasionally reporting the latest news stories, Joseph enjoys getting out and enjoying what our area has to offer. During his time at CBS 7, Joseph has been able to learn under two West Texas greats, while he works along side some of the most talented individuals in the industry.

Although he says working weekdays are a great rush, he explains that he always feels right at home working with his weekend team here on CBS 7.
