Shelby Landgraf is the new co-anchor of the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. CBS7 newscasts alongside Jay Hendricks.

Shelby is bringing almost a decade's worth of experience in broadcast journalism with her to the news desk.

Growing up a proud "military brat," Shelby lived all over the world and graduated high school in Germany. Throughout the many moves West Texas was a constant. She spent part of every summer in the Permian Basin visiting family in Andrews. She has many fond childhood memories of visiting the old prairie dog park in Andrews, eating steak fingers at Buddy's Drive-In, and playing at the Monahans Sandhills State Park.

Shelby has always had a passion for people, a thirst for knowledge, and a love for story-telling. She graduated from Trinity University with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication and Business Administration, and she dove straight into broadcast journalism. She started off working as an associate producer in San Antonio and then as a reporter and weekend anchor in North Texas/Southern Oklahoma before finally making her home in West Texas.

Shelby and her husband live in Odessa with their young daughter. Shelby enjoys giving back to her community by serving on the West Texas Food Bank Board of Directors, the John Ben Shepperd Public Leadership Institute Advisory Board, and volunteering with the Junior League of Odessa.
