Jake Gadon is new the Sports Director at CBS7-KOSA in Odessa, TX and is excited to jump into the West Texas Sports Scene!

On the field, in the press box or from behind the desk in Music City Mall, Jake is always brings the same energy and dedication to every sporting event he covers! Jake, who grew up in Old Saybrook, CT, recently graduated from the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University this past May. He has covered over 200 NFL, MLB, NCAA and high school games while interning at ESPN and Fox Sports. Jake, who is one of five siblings and step siblings, is an APTRA award winner for best student newscast anchor. Jake also has an athletic background being honored as a 2-year varsity baseball letterman in high school.

Jake is truly excited to cover the high school football teams in the West Texas area; especially with the rich history of Midland, Midland Lee, Permian and Odessa high school football! If you ever see Jake out covering a game or in town, do not be afraid to say a friendly hello; he is always excited to meet the new people Texas has to offer!
