Justin is an Odessa native who is glad to be forecasting for the area he grew up in.
He graduated from Texas A&M University in May 2023 with his Bachelor's degree in Meteorology.
When he's not keeping an eye on the skies, Justin likes listening to music, mariachi and playing the violin.

Rain chances and cooler temperatures continue in the forecast through the weekend before conditions dry out in the new week. Along with drier conditions, temperatures will warm back into the low to mid-90s.

A cold front will bring a bit of relief to the region starting on Monday, but high pressure still remains in control.

Temperatures will be warmer still on Friday with highs across the region between about 100 to 105 degrees. A Heat Advisory will be in effect Friday afternoon and evening for the Davis and Guadalupe Mountains, Marfa plateau, Brewster County, and Mitchell County due to those hot temperatures.
