We’ll see a bit of a change heading into the weekend (& October) as high pressure moves away and to the south and a weak cool front or two moves in.

We’ll see a bit of a change heading into the weekend as high pressure moves away and to the south and a weak cool front or two moves in. Temperatures aren’t looking to cool down too much, but we’ll see temperatures back into the 80s through the majority of the next 10-days. Along with some “cooler” temperatures, stray to isolated rain chances remain in the forecast. Nothing too impactful is ahead for the beginning of the month of October.

Although we're heading into the final days of summer temperatures don't look to be cooling down much. High pressure is still in control keeping us hot and relatively dry. A few week disturbances will move through with a bit of a more prominent cold front moving through Sunday night into Monday that will help temperatures back into "cooler" territory.

As we head into the first day of fall, Mother Nature is late to the party as temperatures over the next few days will continue to be hot. Temperatures next week will be a touch cooler, but overall summer looks to be hanging on.

Triple digit temperatures stick around for a few more days, before we see some changes. A cold front is looking to move through the region dropping temperatures into the 80s by the middle of the new week. Along with cooler temperatures, increased rain chances are also expected through the middle of the new week. Let’s hope that the triple digits are in the rearview starting next week.
