MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - According to the City of Midland Facebook page, Wadley-Barron Park has re-opened after a police investigation closed it on Jan. 17.

After beginning a search at Wadley-Barron park last Tuesday, Midland Police Department, DPS, and Texas Rangers found a gun.

Police are looking for evidence in reference to a double homicide at the Ranch Apartments; however, according to MPD, the gun found is not related to that case.
