UPDATE: Two confirmed dead following murder/suicide in Midland, per Midland Police

MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - UPDATE: The City of Midland has confirmed two people are dead following an apparent murder/suicide in Midland.
According to police, around 10:40 am officers responded to Bush’s Chicken where shots had been fired.
When they arrived they found Veronica Renee Sanchez dead from a gunshot wound outside of the restaurant’s back door.
At approximately 1 pm officers found the suspect Alejandro Aguirre’s car at an undisclosed location.
Aguierre was dead from a gunshot wound.
The city is calling it a murder-suicide.
CBS7 is told next of kin has been notified.
