Odessa students gather at cross to hear Easter story

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - Ahead of the Easter weekend, some West Texans gathered to hear the story behind the holiday.
Beside the 40′ Calvary Cross along Highway 191, dozens of students gathered to hear the Easter story of Christ’s death and resurrection.
The event was put on by Odessa businessman John Bushman.
30 years ago, Bushman started the People Pride Scholarship Program, which will have graduated 28 students by the end of May.
