ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - Nine COVID-19 related deaths were reported at Medical Center Hospital over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Five COVID-19 related deaths were reported in Midland as well.

The following comes from MCH:

Medical Center Health System is reporting nine more COVID related deaths over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

The first patient was an 81-year old male from Ector County who died on Wednesday afternoon, November 25. They were admitted on November 6.

The second patient was a 69-year-old male from The Parks Senior Living in Odessa who died on Thursday morning, November 26. They were admitted on November 25.

The third patient was a 58-year-old female from Ector County who died on Thursday afternoon, November 26. They were admitted on November 10.

The fourth patient was a 44-year-old male from Ector County who died on Thursday afternoon, November 26. They were admitted on November 10.

The fifth patient was a 64-year-old male from Ector County who died on Thursday night, November 26. They were admitted on November 2.

The sixth patient was a 94-year-old male from Ft. Stockton who died on Friday evening, November 27. They were admitted on November 11.

The seventh patient was a 64-year-old male from Seminole who died on Friday night, November 27. They were admitted on November 10.

The eighth patient was a 74-year-old female from Ector County who died on Sunday afternoon, November 29. They were admitted on November 21.

The ninth patient was an 82-year-old male from Ector County who died on Sunday evening, November 29. They were admitted on November 19.

All of the patients had pre-existing conditions and all have families have been notified
