Much Warmer Today 1/31/14
Friday Weather Update
Greg Morgan – Chief Meteorologist
Warmer conditions are expected across West Texas today. Highs will climb into the 70’s and 80’s. Skies will be mostly cloudy and winds will be out of the southwest at 15-20mph.
Most of Saturday will be pleasant, with highs reaching to near 70 in the afternoon. However, a cold front will move into the area around sunset Saturday night. This will send temperatures plunging into the lower 30’s by Sunday morning.
Look for overcast skies and little warming on Sunday. A 20% chance of rain will be in place through the day on Sunday. I expect highs to remain in the 30’s through the day.
Much colder air and on and off rain chances will linger into next week.
