Thanksgiving Forecast Looks Sunny 11/28/13
Thursday Weather Update
Greg Morgan Ė Chief Meteorologist
Sunny skies will prevail for the Thanksgiving holiday across West Texas. Look for highs in the 50ís for most. However, a few 60ís are possible over the Trans Pecos and Presidio Valley. Clear skies will continue tonight. As a result, overnight lows will drop into the 20ís for much of the area.
Extra clouds will begin to move into the region on Friday but donít expect any precipitation for the weekend. Highs will be in the 60ís on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Given the extra cloud cover, most locations will stay above freezing in the overnight hours this weekend.
The next storm system looks to take aim at the area around the middle of next week. There are still some timing issues with the next upper low and moisture return will be questionable as well. Thus, I will not include rain in the forecast at this time.
