Midland - Come January, Midland district four will have a new city councilman. J. Ross Lacy beat out incumbent Michael Trost.
CBS 7 caught up with Trost earlier this afternoon. He says he has several projects working right now that he hopes to complete when his term ends in January.
He says he has nothing but gratitude to the citizens of district four.
"I just want to thank the people of district 4 for allowing me to serve them for six years, Trost said. “I think I've served them well. I hope they think all the development that’s going on in district four has been good."
Trost has been a big part of the development happening on the west side of town, as well as at the airport and bringing XCOR to Midland.
