Walk-In Horse Therapy 9/28/13
It was a special day for Sherwin Christian Academy students.
Today was the 5th annual Walk-In Horse Therapy event at the Ector County Coliseum.
The event had games, activities, and horse back riding therapy sessions for children with special needs.
Organizers say this event is one way they can give back.
"It's for the community, it's to give back a little bit. It's to make something special happen for these special kids," says Sherwin Christian Academy Principal Karen Burney.
The event lasted from 10 until two today. Organizers say they're already planning next years event.
