CBS 7 News
Despite alarming predictions from experts, the West Nile Virus continues to have a minor impact on the lone star state and the basin.
Last week, we reported that two cases had been confirmed in Howard County. That number has not risen and no additional reports have been made for any West Texas counties.
Last year, West Texas saw dozens of cases and the state saw nearly 1,900.
But so far this year, Howard County has only seen two and Texas only eight.
