Animal Shelters See Increase In Lost Animals After Fireworks 7/5/13

Yesterday’s fireworks displays were not much of a delight for our furry friends.
Animal shelters say they always see an increase in the number of domestic animals taken in on the Fourth of July. This holiday was no exception.
Midland Animal Services Director Paul O’Neill shared some tips for helping your animals deal with the fireworks.
“It scares them and a lot of times they do whatever they can to get out of that scary situation,” O’Neill said.
